    Operation

    Grade Entry Term Control

    The Allowed checkbox controls the default availability of online grading; overrides by section ignore this setting

    Dates Allowed specifiy start and end dates (inclusive) during which the default Allowed status apply

    Midterm and Final grade assignment are allowed independently, to provide faculty access to each type of grade at appropriate times during the term; these apply to section overrides regardless of the default Allowed setting

    Section Grading Overrides

    Allow grading for individual sections to be allowed or blocked, or assigned different start- and end-dates for grading to occur; the type of grading (midterm or final) follows the setting from Grade Entry Term Control, above
