Kenneth GirrardTable of contentsHmm... The first edit of a new user page shows a little wiki-white by having a call to wiki.localize in it. That should make people stop and go "Huh?" Udderwise it's a normal page?My experiment with displaying RSS feed headlines is troublesome in that Deki doesn't cache the feed data. With slow Internet access, general page access is also slow. A better solution would be a Javascript-based solution that updated the page from an RSS feed using DHTML, allowing the rest of the page to render, then filling in the headlines when they arrive later. |
