    Adverbs and Direct Objects

     

    Assignment:

    1. Click on the following link for more adverb practice: http://www.ego4u.com/en/cram-up/grammar/word-order/adverb-position

    • Read about each type of adverb and then do the exercise that goes with each adverb.  Ex.: Adverbs of Manner - Exercise on Adverbs of Manner
    • After you complete each exercise, click Check Answers.  Correct any answers that are wrong until they are all correct.
    • Copy and paste the final results in a Word document.  Do this for each exercise.  You should have Adverbs of Manner, Place, Time, and Frequency. 
    • Last, do the Excercise on Adverbs (Mix)Copy and paste your final answers at the end of the same document.
    • Save the document in My Documents as: Your name - More Adverbs

    2. Send an e-mail to Laurie with your document attached.

    • Subject: Your name - More Adverbs
    • Write one sentence to tell me what you have learned in this lab.

    Identifying Verbs

     

    Assignment:

    1. Open the file below titled 01-17-12 Identifying Verbs

    • Follow the directions to answer all of the exercises.
    • Save your document to the computer.  Name the file: Your name - Identifying Verbs

    • Do Lessons 1-6 to learn more about verbs and check your answers.  You may change any answers that you got wrong to the correct answer.  Make sure you save the document again after you make changes.
