The science of Climate Change is complicated and complex.  To begin, we will look at a few sources for children, then look at more difficult sites.  Remember, your essay or research paper needs to be clear and easy to understand.  Write as though you are teaching 12 year students.  Your ideas should be easy to understand with examples any one could understand.

1.  To begin with, open a WORD Document (START at the bottom left; then Microsoft WORD.)  Save this document now with your name, on your flash drive.  Keep it open so you can copy links and notes into it. 

• Label the top of the page: CAUSES.
• Skip down 5 lines by hitting  "Enter" 5 times.  Label thie section: EFFECTS.
• Skip down another 5 lines (using "Enter")  Label this section: POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

Take notes on at least  3 CAUSES,  3 EFFECTS, AND 3 POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS of climate change.  Look for causes and effects that are related to the ocean.

2.  Below are links to websites about climate change.  Some are easy, some are hard.  You need a general idea of what climate change means, what the big causes are, and some of the effects.  Once you have a general knowledge, you can look for deeper, more quality information.
