Hot topic: Parking at Palikir site
During the spring and summer of 2012 the main parking lot will be closed due to construction of a solar panel array. Parking options include the F2 faculty parking lot and the FSM-China Friendship Center gym.
The parking plan during this period is as follows:
- Parking will be on a first come basis.
- Individual with disability will have a designated parking space and that can be secured through the Office of Campus Security.
- No vehicle will be allowed to park along the main road on campus and secondary roads leading to the buildings. Campus Security and Sokehs Municipal Police will issue tickets for any illegal parking on campus.
- Taxi Drop Off will be at the New Faculty Parking lot.
The Facilities and Campus Environment Committee advises the Director of Maintenance, Facilities, and Security, the Vice President for Administration, and the President on matters relating to facilities planning, campus beautification, infrastructure maintenance, disaster preparedness, and safety, security and accessibility issues.
