    Requirements Every transaction code must also have distribution data; the feed to MIP will halt with an error if distribution data is missing.
    Operation

    The asset and revenue account segments are used according to the following guidelines:

    Entries on accounts debit assets and credit revenue

    Payments from Debit sources debit and credit the asset accounts of the involved transaction codes

    Payments from Credit sources debit revenue and credit assets
