Agenda/Major Topics of Discussion:

  1. Old Business – TOR Revisions
  2. New Business – Tech Policy

Discussion of Agenda/Information Sharing:

  1. Old Business Peter is still revising TOR. (Our minutes have not been sent to the public because of security with the wikipage.)

  1.   New Business The Tech Policy needs to be revised.  There are 15 sections.  It can be found online at www.comfsm.fm/computing/techpolicy.html Shuan mentioned that some sections are outdated.  Please take that into consideration when reviewing the sections.  FYI: Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) was our old name.  This policy is nine years old. Gordon Segal said, “Some things are still relevant, but please focus on the new things we’ll be getting into like distance ed.  We want to keep it up to date and relevant.” Shaun suggested that policy be put on the wikipage, so that people can post questions about the policy.  Conclusion:  READ AND REVIEW the Tech Policy before the next meeting.
